Authoring Mode Introduction

Turn on Authoring Mode in the File tab in the sidebar to access a range of ways to customize a Polypad. Click each link below to learn more about each option or watch this tutorial video. When Polypad is used inside of Activity Builder, authoring mode is only available for teachers. Outside of Activity Builder, all users have access to authoring mode.

Edit advanced properties for tiles

Set global settings for the entire Polypad

Select which tiles appear in the sidebar and what tools appear in the bottom toolbar

Turn on and off options in the action bar of tiles
